HOPEALIVE-LIFE SKILLS
Learning To Live, Learning To Love
What is Life Skills? It’s a curriculum called, “Learning To Live, Learning To Love”. Originally, the program was created to support and aid people involved in abusive relationships. However, the program has proven to fine-tune and bring enrichment to any kind of relationship, whether dysfunctional or not.
How do you know if you need life skills?
~You have trouble communicating.
~You believe that if your partner would just change, everything would be fine.
~You are constantly second guessing yourself, “What’s wrong with me? What did I do?”
~Excuses are made for the person’s behavior.
~You’ve been verbally, sexually, or physically abused.
~There are mind games, hostile humor or putdowns.
~You believe you had a difficult childhood, but it doesn’t affect you now.
~There are unrealistic expectations for yourself and others.
~You feel angry, depressed, trapped or suicidal.
~You yell at others, especially those you love.
~There is blaming or name calling.
If any of these statements apply to your relationships….. We Can Help!
